We’ll be producing staged readings of six winning scripts on Sept. 23 and Sept. 24 at our 2nd Act Players stage in Northminster Church, Evanston.

Entries should touch on 2nd acts in people’s lives — key turning points or moments of decision or crisis that impact characters’ lives. They also should lend themselves to audience discussions after performances, a hallmark of 2nd Act Player shows to date.

Scripts should be 6-20 pages and cast size is limited to six or less. Read the other rules on our contest page and enter today, by clicking this link. Six winners will be selected and receive staged readings for two evenings by the 2nd Act Players this September.

So dig through your digital file drawers and pull out your best short script today, it’s deadline time!!!
