A 2nd Act Players’ spotlight on — Peter Nerad

Peter Nerad, as The Player in "Boys in the Basement" contemplates a fine bottle of beer.

Peter Nerad portrayed a character who was one of my favorites to write, The Player in our 2015 production of Boys in the Basement.

Player was the leader of the boys, regaling them nightly with stories of his female conquests. The Player had no shame, and no limits. Aren’t there times we’ve all wished we could be like that?

Today, Peter tells us he’s doing the “same ol’ stuff; doing theater, industrials and independent films.”

Have fun with it all Peter, do you still remember your “two Indians and a Polish guy go walking” monologue?

Since its beginnings in 2013, the 2nd Act Players (which wasn’t officially called that until 2014) has seen more than 40 actors perform in the seven plays it either produced or co-produced. In this, our fifth year, we thought it would be fun to see what those actors have been up to lately, so we reached out and heard from several.

We’ll keep posting these throughout the year as we hear from more. And we thank them for all their hard work with us.
