Bryan Jansen played The Whiz Kid in our 2015 production of Boys in the Basement. His character was a relative innocent in a world of male sharks, an innocent who looked at back issues of Playboy on stage every night. Bryan still holds the 2nd Act Players’ record for getting hit the hardest on stage by another cast member.
Since he got out of the basement, Bryan has been busy. He writes that he is “Still pursuing acting, as well as writing.
“I’ve been auditioning as much as possible and working on several screenplays and a TV series that I’m writing. Shot a short film last March for Columbia College, and a feature I helped produce entitled The Monster Project was recently accepted into the festival de cannes.
“Another feature I starred in entitled Game On has been having success in the festival circuit and is expected to be released later this year.”
