This Saturday is a day when Americans go out shopping to support their local small businesses. Buy your tickets now for our One-Act Play Festival this coming March!!!!logo_final_transparent_72dpi_big (1)

We’ll be staging two one-act plays each night of our four weekend run. Falling Into Macy by Richard Lyons Conlon, looks at love and 2nd acts in two couple’s lives while The Last Days of Wonder by Tess Light looks at the love of two daughters for a dying mother.

2nd Act co-founder John N. Frank will make his directorial debut with The Last Days of Wonder while 2nd Act veteran Chris Johnson will be directing Falling Into Macy.

Only four years after the 2nd Act Players started, we’re having an out-sized impact on the local theater scene, as shown by coverage we’ve gotten in the local media, positive reviews of our shows and our nomination for a Mayor’s Art Award in our Evanston home.

Here’s a great way to support us, especially if you missed our recently acclaimed production of The Institute, Coming of Age during the Vietnam War.

Simply click here to get your show tickets today. Or  get tickets now for our fall 2017 show which will be the world premiere of the two-act play, Moving Mother to Chicago after 9/11, a poignant yet funny look at caring for an aging parent in a time of upheaval and tragedy in America.
