Come see Caryl Davidson in Remembrance

Caryl Davidson acts, quite simply, because it’s fun. “After a day at a job being a responsible adult, it is a refreshing change of pace to spend a few evenings a week taking a vacation from reality,” she says.

Her favorite role to date has been that of Suzanne in Dearly Departed with Theatre in the Woods in 2011.

Caryl will be playing Georgia Smith in the Jan. 29-31 performances of ArLynn Leiber Presser’s Remembrance at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center in Evanston. Of her character, she says, “Georgia Smith is more than a shy woman caught in a love triangle. She’s intelligent and has a big heart.”

Asked her dream role, Caryl says she wants to play Mama Morton in Chicago, the rousing musical that hearkens back to the Prohibition era in the Windy City.

Come see Caryl and the other cast members of Remembrance in three very special performances Jan. 29-31 at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center in Evanston. Friday and Saturday night shows start at 7:30, Sunday’s is a 3:30 matinée.
