Still time to buy a shirt, help an actor, #CHICAGOACTSTOGETHER

We told you earlier this month about a great effort by 100 Chicago-area theaters to raise money for out-of-work actors and other theater professionals. The campaign, #CHICAGOACTSTOGETHER, was selling shirts with the names of all the supporting theaters, including the 2nd Act Players, on the back.

If you bought a shirt, or two or three, the money went directly to a fund set up by the League of Chicago Theatres, to help out-of-work theater pros.

Buy a shirt, help an actor. There’s still time.

Sorry you missed that chance? Well, good news, the sales period for the shirts has been extended until June 2, so you can still help. Click here to buy yours today.

The effort has raised $50,000 so far for the @chicagoplays’ Chicago Theatre Workers Relief Fund.

Steppenwolf has been leading this effort. In fact, I think the shirt will be the only time, ever, you will see Steppenwolf and 2nd act Players listed in the same place, so you should buy one just because of that (we bought two)!

Can you find us in this impressive list of theaters? I circled our name to make it easier for you.

Here’s the link to buy again, please help,
