Opening weekend audiences were almost universal in their praise for the new 2nd Act Players’ show, New Year’s Eve at Grandma’s House.
Comments such as “Great, it was great!” and “The acting was really good,” were common on audience feedback forms during the first two shows Nov. 3 and Nov. 4.
“Timely, serious, humorous, moved it!”
“A story of changing America”
“Funny, easy to follow along”
“Second act exceeded expectations”
“Come see it!”
“Don’t miss it!”
“The 2nd Act Players remain the North Shore’s best kept theater secret but people in the know who have found us love us,” says 2nd Act Cofounder John N. Frank.”This play deals with the American immigrant experience and so could not be more timely. We have two weekends of performances left, it’s not too late to see what everyone is raving about.
