Boys in the Basement opens three weeks from tonight! So buy your tickets today before the performance you want to see sells out.
“Past 2nd Act Players shows have had sellout nights, so we’re expecting big crowds for this year’s performance as well,” says 2nd Act cofounder John N. Frank. “If you’re coming with a group, buy your tickets now to be sure you can get all you want.”
Seating at the Piven Theatre, which the Players are renting for their show, is open for Boys performances, which means there are not assigned seat numbers. So again, if you’re coming with a group get there early so you can sit together. Seating surrounds the floor level stage on three sides in the intimate 80-seat space.
Performances of Boys in the Basement will take place at the Noyes Cultural Arts Building (adjacent to the Noyes Purple Line stop in Evanston) Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6,7, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8, at 3 p.m. Performances also will take place the same times the following weekend, Nov. 13-15. For ticket information, go to Brown Paper Tickets.
Special ticket prices are available for Friday evening shows for those who have been through or are going through the pain of divorce a well as for adult children of divorced parents. Click here for details.
