The cast and crew of Boys in the Basement are well into the rehearsal process that will bring you a gripping story about how men deal with the pain and heartache of divorce.

A little behind the scenes info for you, we’ve just moved to what’s known as the offbook stage of rehearsal. This means the cast has memorized its lines and already worked out what’s known as blocking — how each actor will move on stage while delivering those lines.

This is a really exciting time for the actors because now they can fully discover their characters, finding moments in their own lives to relate with and more fully develop the emotions they will show you on stage.

Opening night is Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m., buy your tickets today so you can have our choice of which performance to attend.

Simply click here to buy tickets for either the Nov. 6 or Nov. 7 evening shows or the Sunday Nov. 8 matinée. We also have shows the following weekend, Nov. 13-15, all at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center in Evanston, right next to the Noyes stop on the Purple Line for those taking public transportation.
