Children are the victims of divorce, caught in events totally beyond their control and scarred by them nonetheless. Boys in the Basement looks at how men think about their children in divorce.
Some men struggle to stay involved in tier children’s lives after divorce, others can not bear the pain and simply disappear, leaving children feeling lost and abandoned. How would you react as a divorced father? What will you think of how our characters react?
Performances will take place at the Noyes Cultural Arts Building (adjacent to the Noyes purple Line stop in Evanston) Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6,7, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8, at 3 p.m. Performances also will take place the same times the following weekend, Nov. 13-15.
