We will be auditioning for seven actors, each of whom will play multiple roles in from two to four of the nine short plays we have selected to present at our “60 is the new 40” play festival. Versatility and a comic flair are essential. Please come prepared with a 1-minute comic monologue. Sides also will be provided for cold reads. Please only audition if you have your own transportation to and from Evanston where we rehearse and perform. Our theater is not near public transportation.
Rehearsals will be Monday, March 16 and run Monday through Wednesday evenings, 7-9 or 7-10, through April 27; rehearsals and tech will run Monday through Friday the final week from April 27 through May 1. Opening night is May 2.
Performances will take place on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons May 2,3, May 9,10 and May 23,24. As of now, there will be no shows May 16,17 but that is subject to change.
