60 is the New 40 Play Festival premiers in November

Join the 2nd Act Players this November for their fall 2020 online production, 60 is the New 40,
eight short plays done over two weekends that look at non-stereotypical ways people are
reinventing themselves in their Golden Years.

The 10-minute plays run the gamut from funny to poignant but all should prompt audiences to
think about aging in new, positive, ways.

Characters range from a retired concert pianist who finds a new way to re-ignite his
love of music, to superhero sisters not sure if they’re ready to retire just yet, to couples
discovering love in unexpected places and at unexpected times in their lives.

The scripts all were selected especially for the festival, winners of the 2nd Act Players’ 2020 new
script competition this spring.

Four plays will be streamed online each weekend – Friday, Nov. 13; Saturday, Nov. 14; Friday,

Nov. 20, and Saturday, Nov. 21, all starting at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available on the 2nd Act
Players website, 2ndactplayers.com, for $10 per weekend or $15 for both weekends.
