Opening weekend audiences are raving about the 2nd Act Players’ production of Joe Simonelli’s Old Ringers, a comedy about four older women trying phone sex.

Asked to rate the performances on a scale of one to five stars, opening weekend audiences Nov. 2-3 gave the show an average of 4.3 stars, with 91% rating the show four stars or more.

Even more impressive, 91% would recommend the show to a friend. Several people already have bought tickets to see it again!

Asked on an audience survey to rate the play and leave written comments, audience members said:
“Great humor”
“Wonderful cast and show”
“Hilarious show! Old gals have it going on!”
“Very cute”
“Fun! Enjoyable!”
Terrific cast and funny script
Tickets are selling fast for the remaining four performances. The final performance Sunday Nov. 17 is already sold out. “The best chance you have to see the show is this Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30, there are still a relatively large number of seats available for that show,” says 2nd Act Players Cofounder John N. Frank. “Sunday, Nov. 10’s 3 p.m. matinee still has some tickets left as does the evening show Saturday, Nov. 16 but they are filling up fast.”
