Six cast members have been selected from more than 50 who expressed interest in auditioning for the 2nd Act Players’ #MeToo Play Festival. The festival, which takes place May 19-20 and May 26-27 at Northminster Church in Evanston, will present six 10-minute plays that focus on issues raised by the #MeToo movement.
Tickets are on sale now for the early bird price of $17 by clicking here. Tickets at the door are $20.
Cast members are: Eric Deutz, Shaul Guerrero, Barbara Roeder Harris, Lee Kanne, Jasmine Richman and Jeff Watkins.
“This cast needs to be versatile since each cast member will be playing different roles in multiple plays,” explains 2nd Act Players Founder John N. Frank. “I’m excited by the level fo talent they showed us at their auditions.
“We saw people from 9 a.m. until almost 5:30 p.m. on audition day, so it took a lot to stand out amongst so many very talented people. I’m also happy we’re continuing the 2nd Act Players’ tradition of having a very age-diverse cast working with us.”
