The 2nd Act Players will be performing two dynamic new one-act plays at its One-Act Play Festival March 11-26. The first will be Last Days of Wonder, a look at the challenges faced by an ailing mother and her two adult daughters.
Sensible, organized daughter Sue has flown into town to see her sick mother, unaware of what has happened to her mother’s condition since last she had visited. Meanwhile, artsy daughter Imogen is helping as best she can while she prepares herself for what’s to come. Sibling rivalries quickly emerge as each vies to be their mother’s favorite.
Here’s a sneak peek at the opening scene from Last Days of Wonder featuring cast members Becca Russo (Imogen), Julie Mitre (Mother) and Christine O’Keefe (Susan).
Buy your tickets today, shows are at 7:30 Friday and Saturday evenings and 3:30 Sundays at the 2nd Act Players theater at Northminster Church in Evanston. Click here for your tickets.
