Players board members are now reviewing all the entries and will select two winners whose plays will be performed by the 2nd Act Players in March and April 2017 at the company’s new theater home at Northminster Church in Evanston.

“Our mission as a theater is to showcase new works and new artists and that’s exactly what this competition is all about,” says 2nd Act cofounder and creative director John N. Frank.

Watch for the announcement of winners this July.
