Boys in the Basement, an original two-act play looking at the pain of divorce and the hope for true love from a male perspective, opens tomorrow night at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. If you don’t have your tickets yet, buy them today by clicking here. And remember the 2nd Act Players will present only six performances of Boys, so get your tickets today before they’re all gone. We’ll have an audience discussion with the director and playwright after each Friday night show too.

The 2nd Act Players cast and crew will be spending today and tonight doing what is known in theater as tech.
Scenery and stage decoration will be moved into the theater early this morning and by late afternoon, the cast and crew will be running through lighting and all the details that make a show function properly.
Which lights will be on when? Who will enter on which lines? Who will leave when and to where? What music will be playing when? All the myriad details that makes a show run have to be worked out tonight.
It’s a massive undertaking. Broadway shows spend weeks in tech. We have only one day to get it right.
Come see how we did, buy your tickets now for one of our shows this weekend or next, Nov. 6-8 or Nov. 13-15.
