More people visited the 2nd Act Players’ website in 2019 than in any previous year since the site was launched six years ago. The record annual visitor count, 4,634, came in a year when 2nd Act Players productions played to sold out crowds in New York as well as in its hometown of Evanston.

“We started and ended the year with sell-outs, so it only seems fitting we set a Web record too,” says 2nd Act Players Cofounder John N. Frank. Overall attendance at 2nd Act Players’ productions topped 1,000 people for the first time in 2019 as well.

The 2nd Act Players’ 2020 season begins this May with a short-lay festival, “Is 60 the new 40?” featuring several short plays about changing perceptions of aging in today;s society.
