A 2nd Act Players’ spotlight on — Kirsty Collins

Kirsty Collins had a busy 2016-2017 with the 2nd Act Players, playing Miss Salvati, a central character in The Institute which we produced in October and November, 2016, and then serving as assistant director for Last Days of Wonder, part of our One-Act Play festival earlier this year.

Now, “I am in rehearsal for a lab production at Piven Theatre Workshop, entitled Wise Women and Witches.  It runs June 29 -July 2,” Kirsty writes.

Break a leg Kirsty!

Since its beginnings in 2013, the 2nd Act Players (which wasn’t officially called that until 2014) has seen more than 40 actors perform in the seven plays it either produced or co-produced. In this, our fifth year, we thought it would be fun to see what those actors have been up to lately, so we reached out and heard from several.

This is the first look at those 2nd Act Players veterans. We’ll keep posting these throughout the year as we hear from more. And we thank them for all their hard work with us.

  1. Loved you in The Institute, Kirsty! Can’t wait to see you in The Piven Theatre Workshop. You must be one of the “wise women” 🙂
