“For characters Frankie, Shamus, Patrick and Danny, high school memories revolve around finding a group of friends and a place to belong in the midst of a war.” it goes on to explain.

The positive review comes on top of numerous positive comments from opening weekend audiences who called the play “compelling” and “extraordinary.”

“It’s so heartening to have this positive feedback,” says playwright and co-producer John N. Frank of the 2nd Act Players. “all my plays are very personal, but this is perhaps the most so because it’s the story of how I came to be the man I am today.”

Tickets are still available for the remaining six performances of The Institute Nov. 4,5,6 and Nov. 11,12,13. Veterans will be admitted free the evening of Saturday, Nov. 12.
