2nd Act Players reach 48% of fund-raising goal — put us over the top!

The 2nd Act Players began this year with an ambitious fund-raising goal. Its founders pledged to match all contributions up to a total of $2,000. Money raised will be used to not only fund this year’s production of Boys in the Basement, but also to back our first-ever One-Act Play Competition in 2016!

Thanks to several extremely generous donors, we are now at 48% of our 2015 fund-raising goal! Thank you, thank you so much to friends and family who have donated so far.

And thanks to those who came to our first improv showcase/fundraiser in August and donated there. We have a second fund-raiser scheduled next week, Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Smylie Brothers in Evanston. We hope to see all our Chicago-area friends there.

Our thanks also go out to the wonderful businesses which already have agreed to sponsor our show programs for both Boys in the Basement and Remembrance First Bank & Trust of Evanston, Rich Haskell at Wells Fargo Advisors, Dave’s Italian Kitchen, Duxler Complete Auto Care and MAGNETIKMOUNT.COM.
